SEALSQ Advances Quantum Security Strategy With $5M Quobly Agreement
SEALSQ is integrating its security technology into Quobly's quantum platforms through a $5 million deal, supporting its $200 million quantum investment strategy.

SEALSQ is expanding its partnership with French quantum developer Quobly by integrating its post-quantum security technologies into Quobly's hardware platforms. This commercial agreement is valued at $5 million. The project serves as a component of SEALSQ's Sovereign Quantum Vertical Stack initiative, which focuses on protecting quantum computing infrastructure from cryptographic threats.
"Every commitment we make via SEALQuantum is designed with a focus on strategic collaborations with SEALSQ that accelerate research, development and ultimately commercialization, and Quobly demonstrates how that model can work," said Carlos Moreira, founder and CEO of SEALSQ.
Investment and Commercial Integration
The partnership follows SEALSQ's role as a lead investor in Quobly's €115 million Series A financing round, which concluded in June 2026. This financial backing is part of a capital deployment strategy for SEALSQ's quantum division, which has a total target allocation of $200 million. Company disclosures indicate that more than $60 million has been deployed across the firm's quantum and post-quantum ecosystem.
Under the terms of the new commercial agreement, SEALSQ will provide its specialized security protocols to protect Quobly’s quantum processors. This effort addresses the vulnerability of current encryption standards to quantum-based attacks.
"Building quantum computers at industrial scale requires more than developing high-performance qubits. It requires the engineering capabilities to manufacture, test and qualify them at scale," said Maud Vinet, CEO and co-founder of Quobly. "SEALSQ’s support, as both an investor and technology partner, complements this approach by bringing post-quantum security capabilities into the quantum computing platforms we are building."
Scaling Toward Industrial Quantum Computing
Quobly is working toward technical milestones in its hardware roadmap. The company plans to launch its first cloud access portal by the end of 2026. The firm has set a long-term target of achieving a capacity of one million qubits by 2032.
For SEALSQ, the collaboration contributes to its effort to build a vertical stack that covers the hardware and security layers of the quantum computing market. By embedding post-quantum security early in the development cycle, the company aims to establish a standard for secure quantum operations as hardware capabilities move toward industrial-scale utility.
