The Property Franchise Group PLC has acquired a 25% equity interest in conversational AI platform Enteka Ai, underpinned by a £0.9 million share subscription and a three-year commercial agreement. The transaction deepens the UK property franchise network's technological integration as automated lead qualification tools become standard across residential real estate operations.
"Our investment in Enteka reflects our commitment to delivering long-termm value for our franchisees," said Gareth Samples, Chief Executive Officer of TPFG.
Transaction Structure and Equity Terms
The deal consists of a £0.9 million cash subscription for a 15% equity interest through newly issued shares. An additional 10% equity interest was issued upfront, subject to forfeiture conditions tied directly to the execution of the three-year commercial agreement between the two companies.
Enteka's conversational AI platform is already live and operational across more than 210 TPFG offices. The deployed network includes major agency brands such as Belvoir, EweMove, Hunters, Martin & Co, Northwood, Whitegates, and Brook Financial Services.
Operational Capabilities of Enteka AI
The Enteka software manages inbound communications across multiple channels, including telephone, email, SMS, WhatsApp, and live chat. The system is designed to qualify leads, arrange property viewings, and identify cross-selling opportunities without manual agent intervention.
Additional operational functions include automated database re-engagement and the triage of property maintenance inquiries. By handling routine administrative volume, the platform aims to reduce response times for prospective buyers and tenants while freeing branch staff to focus on in-person negotiations and closing transactions.
"This partnership provides a strong foundation to develop our technology alongside the businesses using it every day," said Christos Votsis, Founder and CEO of Enteka Ai.
Strategic Context in Agency Tech
The investment highlights a broader industry shift toward proprietary or equity-backed software arrangements within real estate agency networks. By taking a meaningful equity stake rather than operating purely on a vendor-client model, franchise groups are attempting to secure influence over the product roadmap while capturing potential upside as artificial intelligence tooling matures across the property sector.
