Defense technology firm Powerus has completed its merger with Aureus Greenway Holdings and commenced public trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker PUSA. The transaction transitions the autonomous systems developer into a publicly listed entity following its combination with AGH.
"When we agreed to combine with Powerus, the case was simple: a U.S.-headquartered autonomous systems company that was already building and selling," said Matthew Saker, former interim CEO of AGH, in a report from Investing.com.
Merger Details and Corporate Structure
Under the terms of the transaction finalized on Tuesday, Autonomous Power Corporation completed its merger with Aureus Greenway Holdings Inc. Following the closing, AGH was officially renamed Powerus Corporation, and its common stock began trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol PUSA.
"Completing this merger is a milestone for our shareholders and for this company," said Andrew Fox, Chief Executive Officer of Powerus, according to Canadian coverage from Investing.com.
Focus on Domestic Production
Powerus develops autonomous systems designed for defense and security applications. The leadership team emphasized that the public listing provides financial and operational capacity to scale domestic manufacturing.
"Every system we build starts with one question: would I trust this in the field. Going public doesn’t change that. It gives us more capacity to build it here, in the United States," stated Brett Velicovich, Co-Founder of Powerus.
What the Listing Means for Defense Technology Markets
The public debut places Powerus among a growing segment of defense-focused autonomous technology companies accessing public capital markets to fund research, development, and scaling of tactical hardware. By entering the Nasdaq Capital Market, the firm gains direct access to institutional capital to support its ongoing U.S. manufacturing operations.
