Oxford Metrics plc operates with Imogen Moorhouse as its chief executive officer, following her official appointment on October 1, 2023, rather than any recent leadership changes involving a Stefan Lampa. The succession followed a transition period after the departure of long-serving executive Nick Bolton.
"Following a thorough and orderly transition process, the board is delighted to welcome Imogen into her new and broader role at Oxford Metrics," said chair Roger Parry in a statement regarding the appointment.
Leadership Succession and Vicon Background
Moorhouse succeeded Nick Bolton, who stepped down after 18 years at the helm of Oxford Metrics to take the top role at Ordnance Survey, the United Kingdom's national mapping agency. Prior to assuming leadership of the broader group, Moorhouse built a 22-year tenure within the organization, most notably serving as CEO of Vicon, which is Oxford Metrics' motion-measurement subsidiary, starting in 2012.
"I am delighted to formally take up the position as CEO of Oxford Metrics which is on an exciting growth trajectory and continues to push the boundaries of innovation," commented Imogen Moorhouse.
Corporate Evolution and Market Presence
Oxford Metrics specializes in smart sensing and software applications across life sciences, entertainment, and engineering markets. The transition positioned internal leadership at the center of the firm's growth strategy as it continues to develop its proprietary motion analysis technologies.
