Concurrent Technologies reported record interim results for the first half of 2026, driven by a surge in order intake and heightened demand across core defense markets. The company posted first-half revenue of approximately £23.1 million alongside a profit before tax of about £3.3 million, according to a Yahoo Finance report.

"Delivering record first-half results reflects the continued strength of demand across our key markets and the successful execution of our growth strategy across both Products and Systems," said Mike Adcock, CEO of Concurrent Technologies, in a statement regarding the performance.

Record Order Intake and Pipeline Growth

The financial gains were underpinned by a doubling of order intake during the six months leading up to 30 June. According to an SQC Research analysis, order intake climbed to £46.9 million, compared with £22.3 million during the corresponding period in H1 FY25.

This order momentum supports management's broader outlook for the fiscal year. Concurrent Technologies anticipates full-year results will match current market expectations of £53 million in revenue and £8 million in profit before tax.

Market Position in Embedded Computing

The company specializes in the design and manufacture of high-end embedded computer boards, primarily utilized in defense, aerospace, and industrial applications. Demand within these sectors has accelerated as governments modernize electronic warfare systems, tactical communications, and ruggedized computing infrastructure.

By expanding its operational scope from individual component products to integrated systems, Concurrent Technologies has sought to capture higher-value defense contracts. The strong order book indicates that this strategic pivot is translating into commercial wins across its primary operating regions.
