Loop Capital initiated coverage of Affirm Holdings (NASDAQ:AFRM) with a Buy rating and a $105 price target, pointing to expanding distribution channels and high projected revenue growth rates as key catalysts for the buy-now-pay-later provider.

Affirm powers more than $50 billion in annual gross merchandise volume, connecting over 27 million consumers with more than 500,000 merchants through point-of-sale financing options. According to an Investing.com report, the newly established price target reflects optimism regarding the company's expanding commercial partnerships and proprietary product adoption.

Growth Drivers and Partner Distribution

The initiation highlights Affirm's growing footprint within digital commerce ecosystems, driven largely by integration agreements with major payment processors. Loop Capital specifically cited expanded distribution through partners including Stripe and Adyen as vital vectors for scaling merchant acquisition without traditional direct-sales friction.

In addition to gateway integrations, the Investing.com report noted that the Affirm Card is functioning as an effective tool for driving broader everyday acceptance. By allowing consumers to utilize installment lending outside of traditional checkout integrations, the card extends the platform's utility into general retail spending.

Financial Projections and Market Context

Loop Capital's thesis places Affirm in a distinct peer group regarding financial scale and projected expansion. Affirm stands as one of only seven U.S.-listed companies with a market capitalization between $20 billion and $50 billion projected to grow fiscal year 2027 revenue by more than 25% while simultaneously generating adjusted operating margins above 25%.

This combination of top-line velocity and improving profitability metrics underpins the firm's bullish stance on the equity. As digital payment rails continue to consolidate around unified checkout solutions, analyst coverage focuses increasingly on whether specialized credit providers can maintain margin discipline while scaling transaction volume across global merchant networks.
