Jefferies initiated coverage on Lindblad Expeditions Holdings (NASDAQ: LIND) with a Hold rating and a $29.00 price target, pointing to an 84% year-to-date rally and limited room for further fleet expansion.

Following a sharp advance that pushed shares to new all-time highs, up 96% over the past year and 49% over the prior six months, analysts argue that the company's operational recovery is largely priced in as occupancy approaches a structural ceiling.

Fleet Growth and Occupancy Limits

The Jefferies coverage report projects no new ship builds through 2028, estimating a capacity compound annual growth rate of approximately 3.3% from fiscal 2024 through fiscal 2028. With occupancy rates estimated to be nearing a structural ceiling in the low-to-mid 90% range, future revenue expansion will depend heavily on pricing power rather than passenger volume increases.

Lindblad is valued at approximately 13.0 times fiscal 2027 enterprise value to EBITDA. While margins are expected to expand, Jefferies notes they remain structurally well below those of mass-market cruise peers.

Contrasting Wall Street Views

The neutral initiation diverges from more bullish sentiment elsewhere on Wall Street. Following Lindblad's second-quarter earnings report, Stifel maintained a Buy rating and raised its price target from $32.00 to $37.00.

In Q2 2026, Lindblad grew revenue 18.6% year-over-year to $199.25 million, beating consensus expectations of $186.26 million. The expedition cruise operator also posted an adjusted loss of $0.02 per share, outperforming the consensus estimate of a $0.12 per share loss.
