Jefferies lowered its price target on HA Sustainable Infrastructure Capital (NYSE:HASI) to $44 from $45 while maintaining a Buy rating. The firm cited improved capital efficiency and confidence in spread maintenance despite current interest rate conditions, according to an Investing.com report.
Capital Deployment and Equity Ratios
In its adjustment, the investment firm highlighted the capital efficiency model of HA Sustainable Infrastructure. The analysis noted that the firm deploys approximately $1.35 billion of total investment capital for every $100 million of company equity, which reflects a leveraged approach to funding sustainable infrastructure projects.
Trading in the parent firm reflected general market movements. Jefferies Financial Group Inc (NYSE: JEF) closed at $44.96, down 1.92%, as of 2026-10-06T20:00:00.000Z, according to Finnhub market data.
Dividend Yield and Track Record
The revised valuation framework considers the income profile for shareholders. HA Sustainable Infrastructure offers a dividend yield of 4.75% and has increased its payout for seven consecutive years, according to the Investing.com report.
Spread Maintenance Amid Rate Pressures
Analyst projections focus on the ability of the company to maintain investment spreads despite macroeconomic headwinds tied to interest rates. By optimizing capital structure and generating recurring yields, climate infrastructure financiers work to insulate their portfolios from debt cost volatility.
