HSBC Holdings plc issued three series of yen-denominated senior unsecured callable bonds totaling ¥54.3 billion, securing capital in Japan's debt market while listing the instruments on European exchanges, according to an Investing.com report.
The debt issuance taps into international investor demand through structured maturities ranging up to 11 years, providing the multinational banking giant with diversified funding sources.
Tranche Breakdown and Coupon Rates
The ¥54.3 billion offering is split across three distinct series with varying coupon rates and redemption schedules, according to the report.
- Thirteenth Series 2026: ¥21.6 billion in bonds bearing a 2.769% coupon, maturing in September 2030.
- Fourteenth Series 2026: ¥25.7 billion in bonds carrying a 3.227% coupon, maturing in September 2032.
