Poland's Diagnostyka Group posted a 16.1% year-over-year increase in second-quarter revenue to PLN 683.0 million, according to an Investing.com report. Profitability faced headwinds from operational costs tied to an ongoing enterprise software implementation.
SAP Implementation and Profit Margins
Recurring EBITDA grew just 1.0% to PLN 154.4 million during the quarter, causing the recurring EBITDA margin to compress to 22.6% compared to 26.0% in the prior-year period. The margin pressure stemmed from temporary cost increases and inventory discrepancies linked to a major SAP ERP system rollout that went live in January 2026.
Enterprise resource planning system implementations frequently disrupt short-term operating margins. When companies transition to centralized platforms like SAP, businesses often encounter friction during the stabilization phase, including dual-running costs, external consulting fees, and temporary supply chain or inventory valuation discrepancies before automated controls take full effect.
Net Profit and Shareholder Returns
Reflecting the operational cost pressures, net profit attributable to the owners of the parent company declined 10.1% to PLN 57.4 million for the quarter.
Alongside the earnings presentation, the corporate disclosure highlighted capital return details from earlier in the fiscal cycle. Diagnostyka paid PLN 148.5 million in dividends for the 2025 fiscal year, translating to PLN 4.40 per share.
Leadership Changes and Full-Year Outlook
Management announced an executive transition alongside the financial results, appointing Jakub Tatak as Chief Financial Officer effective September 1, 2026.
Despite the margin compression experienced during the first half of the year, Diagnostyka maintained its full-year financial guidance, signaling confidence that the SAP-related operational expenses will moderate as the system stabilization phase progresses.
