GrowGeneration Corp. has acquired digital B2B ordering, customer relationship management, and sales platform assets from Order Junky to streamline commercial sales operations and support a strategic shift toward proprietary brand growth.
"Adding Order Junky's innovative platform directly into GrowGen's existing infrastructure simplifies the path from lead to order," said Darren Lampert, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of GrowGeneration.
Integration Timeline and AI Evaluation
Under the acquisition terms, GrowGeneration plans to focus on platform evaluation and integration planning throughout the remainder of 2026. Full deployment into the company's technology stack and commercial sales infrastructure is scheduled for 2027.
The acquired assets feature built-in artificial intelligence sales enablement and automation capabilities. According to company disclosures, GrowGeneration intends to test and deploy these AI tools at selected points within its commercial sales workflow.
"Our vision is to create a more unified transactional platform around the salesperson and the customer," said Michael Salaman, President and Co-Founder of GrowGeneration.
Leadership Integration and Industry Context
As part of the transaction, Order Junky founder John Paul has joined GrowGeneration as Vice President of Inside Sales & Digital Commerce. In his new role, he will oversee platform development, system integration, deployment schedules, and inside sales capabilities.
"I've spent much of my career working with growers, manufacturers, distributors and hydroponic businesses and seen firsthand how fragmented the commercial purchasing process can be," said John Paul, Vice President of Inside Sales & Digital Commerce at GrowGeneration.
Market Performance and Financial Valuation
In the public markets, GrowGeneration Corp (GRWG) stock closed at $1.49, down 0.67% from its previous close of $1.50, according to market data as of October 13, 2026.
What the Acquisition Means for Commercial Operations
The acquisition reflects an ongoing effort by hydroponic equipment and gardening suppliers to modernize legacy B2B ordering channels. By consolidating CRM and digital sales infrastructure under a single proprietary platform, GrowGeneration aims to reduce friction in commercial transactions as the company expands its private-label product offerings.
