Galliford Try Holdings plc has secured 82 lots on Pagabo's newly awarded four-year, £4.3 billion civil engineering and infrastructure framework, supporting its long-term pipeline across public sector infrastructure projects in the UK.
"Operating in high-quality frameworks is a key part of our Sustainable Growth Strategy and we look forward to working with Pagabo to deliver for their clients in the coming years," said Bill Hocking, Chief Executive for Galliford Try, in a statement.
Framework Details and Supplier Selection
The four-year framework is operated by Pagabo on behalf of public procurement organization YPO, according to a report by Construction News. The program names 109 suppliers across 13 lots, running from October 2026 to September 2030 with an estimated total value of £4.295 billion including VAT.
Galliford Try's 82 won lots span multiple value bands, regions, and sectors. These sectors include highways, rail, water, environment, energy, nuclear, and defense, providing the builder with access to public-backed capital expenditure.
Strategic Importance of Public Frameworks
Securing a position on major public procurement vehicles aligns with Galliford Try's stated corporate roadmap. Large-scale frameworks offer contractors predictable workflows and lower bidding costs compared to individual open-market tenders, helping participants manage short-term volatility in private development markets.
For public authorities and clients managed by Pagabo, pre-approved supplier lists simplify project delivery by pre-vetting technical capabilities, financial standing, and compliance standards ahead of contract awards.
