Solaris Energy Infrastructure shares rose 6% on Tuesday following an upward revision to the company's 2026 Adjusted EBITDA forecasts and the initiation of strong initial projections for early 2027, driven by core power services and recent acquisitions, according to an Investing.com report.

The guidance upgrades reflect accelerating demand across the energy infrastructure sector, positioning the company for earnings expansion over the next several quarters.

Upgraded Third and Fourth Quarter Projections

For the third quarter of 2026, Solaris expects Adjusted EBITDA to land between $110 million and $130 million, representing an increase from its prior range of $90 million to $105 million. At the midpoint, this adjustment marks a 23% upgrade for the period.

The outlook for the final quarter of the year showed even larger revisions. Fourth-quarter 2026 Adjusted EBITDA guidance was raised to a range of $145 million to $180 million, up from the previous forecast of $100 million to $120 million. This revision represents a 48% increase at the midpoint compared to prior expectations.

Expanding Into 2027

Building on the momentum of its upwardly revised 2026 outlook, Solaris initiated financial guidance for the first quarter of 2027, projecting Adjusted EBITDA between $200 million and $240 million.

Alongside the earnings updates, Solaris announced a cash dividend of $0.12 per share, scheduled with an ex-dividend date of September 15, 2026, according to a related Investing.com report.

What Drives the Guidance Revisions?

Adjusted EBITDA serves as a financial metric for capital-intensive firms like Solaris, stripping out interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization to highlight core operating profitability. The sharp upward revisions point to stronger-than-anticipated cash generation from the company's power services and recent strategic acquisitions.

As energy infrastructure providers navigate rising power demands from industrial and oilfield operations, these upgraded earnings trajectories signal sustained operational growth through the remainder of 2026 and into the start of 2027.
