Quantum Helium Limited narrowed its net loss to AUD $3.4 million for the financial year ended June 30, 2026, improving from a loss of AUD $10.3 million in 2025 as revenue rose on oil production at its Sagebrush project.
Revenue from continuing operations reached AUD $725,000 for FY2026, up from AUD $504,000 in the prior fiscal year, according to an Investing.com report.
"FY26 was a defining year for Quantum. We entered the period as Mosman Oil and Gas and ended it as Quantum Helium," said Carl Dumbrell, Executive Chairman.
Operational Growth and Corporate Evolution
The financial results reflect a strategic pivot for the company, which formally transitioned its corporate identity and focus during the period. Alongside the name change, the company increased its working interest in the Sagebrush project from 82.5% to 90% and secured official approval to assume operatorship in April 2026.
Cash reserves strengthened by year-end, totaling AUD $10.5 million compared to AUD $3.9 million in the previous year. Quantum Helium reported a subsequent cash balance of AUD $8.5 million as of Tuesday.
Helium Resource Assessments
Beyond current oil production contributing to annual revenues, independent resource assessments established combined 2U gross helium resources of 1.1 billion cubic feet across the company's core North American assets.
The resource inventory is divided between two primary locations:
- Sagebrush Project: Holds 134 million cubic feet of gross helium resources, alongside ongoing oil extraction operations.
- Coyote Wash: Accounts for the larger share with 970 million cubic feet of estimated gross helium resources.
