Navitas Semiconductor has unveiled a 24 kW power delivery board co-developed with NVIDIA that converts 800 VDC directly to 12 VDC in a single stage, targeting high-density infrastructure in AI data centers. The new hardware design arrives as power demands for artificial intelligence clusters outpace traditional data center architectures.

"The next era of AI will be defined not only by how much compute we can create but by our ability to deliver the power needed to unleash its full potential," said Chris Allexandre, President and CEO of Navitas, in a statement on the release.

Technical Specifications and Efficiency

The power delivery board targets 97% efficiency at full load, paired with a power density exceeding 2,000 W/in³. Engineered in a 400 mm by 60 mm form factor, the hardware is built to integrate directly onto the compute motherboard.

The board incorporates 16 NV6034 GaNFast field-effect transistors on the primary side, configured in a stacked half-bridge topology. According to the announcement, the hardware is planned for display in NVIDIA’s AI Factory MGX Wall partner display area at the OCP Global Summit 2026.

What Is at Stake for AI Infrastructure

Power management represents a critical bottleneck for modern AI data centers, which require dense power delivery mechanisms to sustain high-performance graphics processing units without excessive thermal loss. By eliminating intermediate conversion stages, single-stage 800 VDC-to-12 VDC architectures aim to reduce conversion steps and improve overall electrical efficiency in enterprise server racks.
