J.P. Morgan upgraded Kingspan Group to overweight from neutral and raised its December 2027 price target to €130, driven by surging data center demand and updated earnings modeling, according to an Investing.com report.

The analyst upgrade reflects stronger structural growth drivers within the building materials supplier's specialized divisions, moving away from previous neutral market sentiment. The target price was increased significantly from the prior €95 level.

Advnsys Data Solutions Momentum

The upgrade is anchored by extraordinary order momentum within Kingspan's Advnsys segment, where demand for data solutions has nearly quadrupled.

Data center operators are increasingly turning to advanced thermal management and insulated panel solutions to cool high-density computing environments. Kingspan's engineering offerings in this segment have captured a larger share of infrastructure spending as artificial intelligence workloads accelerate data center construction globally.

Earnings Revisions and BMC Acquisition

Following the structural demand shift, J.P. Morgan revised its forward financial models upward for the Irish building materials manufacturer.

The bank raised its 2027 adjusted earnings-per-share estimate to €5.54 from €5.01, representing a 10.7% increase, and forecasts 2027 revenue reaching €11.64 billion.

"J.P. Morgan updated its model for the BMC Manufacturing Group acquisition, leading to a 5% increase in 2027 sales estimates and a 13% increase in 2027 trading profit estimates," according to the Investing.com report.

Upcoming Capital Markets Day Focus

Market attention now shifts toward Kingspan's upcoming corporate milestones and strategic execution in North America.

The company is scheduled to host a Capital Markets Day on November 10 in Oklahoma, where management will outline its U.S. roofing strategy. The firm is targeting a 15% market share of the commercial flat roof market, a key expansion pillar for long-term valuation.

For institutional investors and market participants, the combination of surging data center order intake, earnings accretion from the BMC Manufacturing Group acquisition, and an aggressive U.S. market push underpins J.P. Morgan's bullish revision.
