Evolution Metals & Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: EMAT) issued initial fiscal 2027 revenue guidance of $400 million to $460 million, alongside fiscal 2026 projections of $5 million to $8 million, as the company scales rare earth magnet manufacturing ahead of upcoming U.S. defense sourcing restrictions.

“Providing guidance for both years gives investors a clearer view of the financial progression we expect as the Pohang expansion moves from equipment installation and commissioning in late 2026 into its first full year of operation in 2027,” said Christopher Clower, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of EM&T.

Scaling Production in South Korea

The projected financial growth relies on substantial operational scaling at the company's South Korean facility. According to a GlobeNewswire release, 13 additional ULVAC sintered magnet production machines are scheduled for delivery and installation in November 2026. This deployment is expected to increase annual rare earth magnet capacity from roughly 1,000 metric tons to approximately 10,000 metric tons, a figure that includes about 6,000 metric tons of high-performance sintered magnets.

To support this expanded capacity, the company reached agreed principal terms with Korea Electric Power Corporation to increase power at the Pohang site from 130 megawatts to roughly 750 megawatts. EM&T also plans to acquire approximately 1.3 million square feet of adjacent land and has secured conditional approval for an estimated $20.7 million government grant.

“Delivering against this guidance is fundamentally a matter of execution,” said Frank Moon, Chief Executive Officer of EM&T.

Regulatory Context and Defense Mandates

The revenue timeline aligns directly with tightening federal procurement rules. Starting January 1, 2027, the U.S. defense sourcing rule DFARS 252.225-7052 extends restrictions across the entire mine-to-magnet supply chain, naming China among the covered countries.

“January 1, 2027 marks a significant change in sourcing requirements for the U.S. defense industrial base,” said Andrew F. Knaggs, President of EM&T.

Market Valuation

Trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker EMAT, Evolution Metals & Technologies stock closed at $3.08 with a 0.00% change as of September 11, 2026, according to Finnhub market data.
