EL.En. S.p.A. reported a 45.5% surge in first-half net income to €26.1 million as revenue climbed 9.1% to €246.5 million, supported by a strategic shift toward higher-margin medical laser technologies that now dominate the Italian manufacturer's business.
"The first half confirmed the strength of the group growth trajectory and the direction we have been pursuing for some time, an increasing focus on the medical sector," said Andrea Cangioli, Chief Executive, EL.En., in a statement regarding the H1 2026 financial results.

Simultaneously, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) grew 30.0% to €48.7 million. This pushed the EBITDA margin to 19.8%, reflecting improved cost structures and product mix as the company phases out lower-margin industrial applications.
