Shiprocket reported a 34% increase in operating revenue for the first quarter of fiscal 2027, alongside a narrowed net loss and positive adjusted EBITDA in its debut earnings report since going public, according to a report by The Economic Times.
The logistics technology platform posted a consolidated net loss of ₹13.7 crore for the quarter ending June 30, marking a 24% improvement from the ₹18 crore loss recorded in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
“We are only a few years into a decade-long build, and we continue to double down and invest behind unlocking the true potential of India's businesses,” said Saahil Goel, Managing Director and CEO, Shiprocket, in a statement regarding the earnings.
Revenue Growth and Operational Metrics
Operating revenue for the quarter rose 33.8% year-on-year to reach ₹592.1 crore, up from ₹442.5 crore in Q1 FY26. The top-line expansion reflects continued scaling across the company's core shipping and fulfillment services tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Profitability metrics also showed improvement, driven by operating leverage and cost discipline. Adjusted EBITDA turned positive at ₹8.9 crore, representing an increase compared to the ₹1 crore reported in the year-ago period.
What the Earnings Mean for the Post-IPO Path
As Shiprocket navigates its initial quarters as a publicly traded entity, the combination of top-line growth and narrowing losses highlights its transition toward sustainable operational scale. The performance provides public market investors with their first official dataset on the company's unit economics and margin trajectory following its stock market debut.
