Jack Henry & Associates is preparing for a transition year in fiscal 2027, leaning on cloud-native platform rollouts and bundled service sales to support future revenue. The company posted a 7% non-GAAP revenue gain for fiscal 2026, alongside 58 core competitive wins and margin expansion topping 90 basis points, according to a transcript of the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference.
"The typical lag between signing a core deal and seeing revenue is 12 to 24 months, because contracts often still have term left and bank staff must be trained on a package that can include about 40 complementary and payment solutions," said Greg Adelson, President and CEO of Jack Henry, during the conference.
Scaling the 'Trifecta' Strategy
Jack Henry has shifted toward selling integrated packages covering core, digital, and card processing services. The company's win rate for these "trifecta" deals reached 59% in fiscal 2026, up from 39% the previous year. While bundled contracts improve client retention across financial institutions, they also create a multi-year lag before contract wins show up in reported revenue.
Management highlighted several product adoption numbers tied to this strategy. Tap2Local is currently live at more than 900 financial institutions, and Jack Henry Rapid Transfers has been implemented at roughly 150 institutions.
Financial Outlook for 2027
For fiscal 2027, the company forecasts revenue growth in line with its 2026 rate. After expanding margins by more than 90 basis points in fiscal 2026, management expects a narrower margin expansion of 20 to 40 basis points during the upcoming transition period.
The priority remains moving legacy customers onto cloud-native architecture, which involves technical data migration along with operational training for bank staff. Revenue timing over the next several quarters will depend largely on how quickly the company works through these implementation backlogs.
