Gold X2 Reports 40.4m at 2.05 g/t Gold at Span Prospect Extension

Gold X2 Mining has identified a potential northeast extension of its Moss Gold Deposit following phase one drilling at the Span Prospect. The results indicate that the Span area may be a faulted offset of the established Moss deposit, which provides a new target for resource expansion.

"We are encouraged with our early-stage drilling at the Span prospect as we look to discover the northeast offset extension of the Moss Deposit," said Michael Henrichsen, CEO of Gold X2, in a statement.

Drilling Results and Geological Significance

The company confirmed that drill hole MSD-26-404 intersected 40.4 meters of 2.05 grams per tonne (g/t) gold starting at a depth of 343.6 meters. Within this intersection, a higher-grade zone of 24.05 meters of 3.17 g/t gold was identified beginning at 345.95 meters.

Geologically, the Span Prospect is a target because it is hypothesized to be a faulted offset of the main Moss deposit. Identifying the continuity of mineralization here could increase the known footprint of the project.

Operational Expansion Plans

Gold X2 is mobilizing a third drill contractor to the site to build on these results. This follow-up program is scheduled to commence in September 2026. The company stated that this work will not divert resources from its expansion and infill drilling programs already underway at the primary Moss deposit.

"The Company plans to follow up on the 40.4m of 2.05 g/t Au intercept with an additional drill rig arriving on site this week to extend the mineralization toward the surface and to the east-northeast," Henrichsen added.
